The department is comprised of a team of qualified and highly experienced faculty members who have published numerous articles in SCI and Scopus-indexed journals, as well as Indian and international patent applications, in the advancing field of Science and Technology.
They also support the social and academic growth of the department by organizing and participating in campaigns and events that hold social significance.
The diverse field of Civil Engineering allows for research and consultancy in areas such as innovative sustainable construction materials, geopolymer concrete, pervious pavement materials, recycled aggregates, bacterial concrete, and basalt fiber concrete. The department is equipped with both basic and advanced laboratory facilities, which were developed through funding from five external and one internal project sponsored by DST, SERB, AICTE, and K.S.R. College of Engineering.
