About Central Library
The college's Central Library is a comprehensive knowledge hub designed to support students' academic pursuits. Spanning three spacious floors, the library is well-stocked with an impressive collection of over 116,413 book volumes and subscriptions to more than 355 national and international journals and magazines. The library's extensive operating hours reflect its commitment to student accessibility, running from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on working days, with modified hours on Sundays, holidays, and during vacation periods. Beyond traditional print resources, the library embraces modern technological advancements by offering seven electronic resources, including e-journals and e-books. Students benefit from a cutting-edge digital environment featuring an audio-visual room for online courses like NPTEL, coupled with more than 85 high-speed internet-enabled computer systems. These systems allow students to easily access, refer to, and download crucial documents for their project work. The library's multifaceted approach ensures that students have comprehensive access to both traditional and digital learning resources, supporting their academic growth and research endeavors across various disciplines.
