The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) established in 2002 offers a Bachelor’s program in B.E.-Electrical and Electronics Engineering with intake of 120 students and two Post graduate programs in M.E.- Embedded Systems Technologies and M.E. Power Electronics & Drives. The B.E.- Electrical and Electronics Engineering program is accredited by the NBA, New Delhi and holds permanent affiliation with Anna University, Chennai, ensuring high academic standards. Additionally, the Department hosts a research center approved by Anna University, Chennai, for Ph.D. research. The department also has ample research supervisors across various specializations, fostering an environment conducive to academic and research excellence.

As an EEE student, I was given the opportunity to explore not only the technical aspects of engineering but also to develop a disciplined approach to problem-solving. The rigorous academic environment, along with the support from faculty, helped me develop skills that I continue to apply in my role as a Deputy Commissioner of Income Tax with the Indian Revenue Service (IRS).
