About the Centre |
| The Centre for Smart Infrastructure and Research has been established through a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed with Bentley Systems, a global leader in infrastructure engineering software. This collaborative initiative aims to drive innovation, research, and skill development in the field of smart infrastructure. The Centre serves as a hub for advanced learning, applied research, and industry oriented training in digital infrastructure solutions. By leveraging Bentley’s cutting edge software platforms such as OpenRoads, STAAD.Pro, OpenBuildings, and iTwin technology, the Centre enables students, faculty, and professionals to explore modern practices in infrastructure design, simulation, construction management, and digital twins. |
